Looking into them an seeing things from a bug off of the ground to the cells on the inside of your cheek, to a piece of hair from my head. I would put what I was looking a on a slide and look at it closely. A whole new world was opened up to me. Then in high school the Lw Scientific Microscope gave me amazement again. It showed me how amazing microscopes could be. I loved to dissect things and look at them under the microscope. It was amazing what you could not see just by looking at things. All of the little things that are put together to build something big. Then off to college I went. And again I used the Lw Scientific Microscope. But this time my major was biology so I never realised how important this microscope would be to me. From a child to an adult the microscope became so interesting to me and to my life. It allowed me to dissect many different things. Gave me a new view into life and what was there. From the prepared slides that teachers had provided to slides that I learned how to prepare myself, a whole new world was opened up to me. This is a world that was brought to me through the technology of microscopes. With the different kinds of microscopes available there is one that will make a difference in learning and sparking interest for children. This made a difference in my life and made me want to learn more. Microscopes can inspire children. They give them the want to learn more in the world around them. This gives them the ability to grow and become interested in the world around them. Becoming interested in science gives them a greater respect for the world. This all starts because of the microscope. That little spark of interest that looking at your own hair can provide will make all of the difference in a young child's life. |
